Value Added Services: Modified Interface Modules

ASI can prove that it actually costs less to purchase a Modified Standard Connector Interface Module from ASI than to try to modify it yourself.  This is because ASI maintains low costs in both their automated wave soldering and hand soldering operations and, when considering the individual shipping costs of any added components, the modified standard modules almost always cost less to buy direct from ASI.

Typical modifications to the Standard Connector Interface Modules are the addition of one or more resistors, capacitors and/or diodes to add additional functionality to the module. These modules are all designed to be modifiable by the end user, but why pay more when ASI can do it for you...and for less money.  Some customers have even had ASI add their company logo and contact information to the otherwise Standard Connector Interface Module.
