Cable Glands, Cord Grips, Strain Relief Fittings for Hazardous or Increased Safety Locations

  •  The ASI cable glands, cord grips and strain relief fittings for explosion proof or increased safety applications are rated EEx e and ATEX.

  • These hazardous location cable glands and strain relief fittings are made of high performance nylon and can be ordered in either blue or black colors.

  • The ASI increased safety or hazardous location cable glands and strain relief fittings are available in metric or PG threads in a range from M16 to M25 and PG7 to PG29 respectively.

  • The operating temperature range for these cable glands and strain relief fittings for hazardous locations is -25ºC to +90ºC continuous and up to 110ºC short period.

  • EEx e and ATEX rated cable glands and stain relief fittings are ideal for applications in the mining, fertilizer, chemical, offshore, petro chemical and similar industries that require cable glands and strain relief fittings that offer this increased safety level.

  • In addition to the increased safety ratings, the ASI cable glands and strain reliefs for hazardous locations provide an ingress protection level of IP65, NEMA 4, and 4 X.
