Since 1999 ASI has offered quick-turn design and manufacturing capabilities to produce Custom Interface Modules. Using ORCAD as their primary circuit board design capability and brand new wave soldering, inspection and test equipment, ASI has brought the production of their interface modules in-house to maintain short lead times and competitive costs. Now, both the standard connector interface modules and the custom interface modules are produced in our Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania manufacturing facility.
The main benefit of custom interface modules is the ability to add additional interconnect functionality in a single DIN rail mountable device. Custom Interface Modules from ASI typically replace DIN rail mount terminal blocks as well as fused circuits, DIP Switch programability, DIN rail mount relays, I/O modules, and more.
