When space is at a premium in the equipment cabinet or control panel the double level terminal blocks from ASI are an ideal solution to this problem. In essence, this terminal block features two independent feed-through wire connections one on top of the other. In the space normally occupied by one terminal block you now have two, which cuts your space requirement in half by doubling the amount of wiring. The ASIUKK series of double level terminal blocks feature UL94V0 housings, nickel-plated copper alloy metal bodies and screws and a complete range of accessories.
The two versions of this terminal block that are currently available are one which allows for a bridge connection only on the upper level and another which allows for bridge connection on both the upper and the lower levels between adjacent terminal blocks.
These terminal blocks are also equivalents to the double level terminal blocks offered by Phoenix Contact® in that they use a similar shape, design, and materials. They can easily replace the UKK 5, 2774017 and the UKKB5, 2771146 offered by Phoenix Contact®. They are a similar color, feature the same offset for ease of wiring to the bottom level and can share the same accessories.
If the overall size of the ASIUKK5 series is too large then you may find that the much smaller double level miniature and double level micro-miniature terminal blocks are better suited for your application. These products are the ASIMBKKB2.5 and the ASIMTTB1.5 series. These terminal blocks are also similar and can serve as equivalents to corresponding products offered by Phoenix Contact®.
